PC World is a global computer magazine published monthly by IDG. It offers advice on various aspects of PCs and related items, the Internet, and other personal-technology products and services.

Each month PC World runs tests on various areas of the IT world from new pre-built computers, LCD monitors, graphic cards, motherboards, PDAs, wireless network routers and many more.

The magazine also includes many reviews from products across the IT board including phones and accessories, cameras, and software from a wide range of vendors as well.

PC Magazine (sometimes referred to as PC Mag) is a computer magazine that is published monthly (until 2008 it was published biweekly except in January and July) both in print and online.

The magazine is published by Ziff-Davis Publishing Holdings Inc. The first edition was released in January 1982 as a monthly called PC (the “Magazine” was not added to the logo until the first major redesign in January 1986).

The magazine moved to biweekly publication in 1983 after a single monthly issue swelled to more than 800 pages.

Macworld is a web site and monthly computer magazine dedicated to Apple Macintosh products. It is published by Mac Publishing, which is headquartered in San Francisco, California.

Published since 1984, the magazine has the largest audited circulation (both total and newsstand) of Macintosh-focused magazines in North America, more than double its nearest competitor, Mac|Life (formerly MacAddict). Macworld was founded by David Bunnell (publisher) and Andrew Fluegelman

Computer Shopper is a monthly home computing magazine published in the United States. The magazine at one time held the record of being the heaviest magazine, totalling well over 800 pages per issue on a large 10″ x 15″ format.

Most of these were advertisements for mail order computer & computer parts stores. Since the rise of the world wide web and online ordering the magazine has shrunk a great deal, although it still features reviews of over 300 products per issue.
