numl The University began as an institute in 1970 to help people communicate and understand each other in different languages, to assimilate different cultures and to act as a springboard for emerging disciplines.

At present it is a fully autonomous, degree awarding University. It has crossed several barriers and now teaches 23 languages in addition to many emerging arts and sciences. It is open to all persons, regardless of class, creed, gender, race or color.

Programs offered at NUML

Following are the Programs offered by NUML. Programs are divided in to morning and evening sessions. Given information contains course, course length and eligibility.

B.Ed	1 Year (2 Semesters)	Bachelor’s Degree in at least 2nd Division.

POSTGRADUATE COURSES
MA/M.Sc.
M.Sc in GOOD GOVERNANCE AND ORGANISATIONAL SCIENCE IN COLLABORATION WITH UTRECHT UNIVERSITY NETHERLANDS	2 Years (4 Semesters)	Bachelor’s Degree in at least 2nd Div.
Arabic, French, German and Hindi	2 Years (4 Semesters)	Bachelor’s Degree in at least 2nd Div with the target language as an elective subject or Diploma in the language from NUML or equivalent.
Urdu (Linguistics and Literature)	2 years (4 Semesters)	Bachelor’s Degree in at least 2nd Div. Candidates having studied the relevant subject in B.A will be preferred.
